We stayed in a cosy apartment in the Campanha area of Porto with good access to tourist spots. The place was spacious and well laid out but had no proper windows or views, just a high-up velux window in the bedroom. It’s up 31 steps on a steep hill in a run-down area with some stray cats, so not great if you have mobility issues, but we liked having a nearby Mozambique restaurant and found it a solid base for exploring Porto’s historic riverside and beyond.
